Imagine if every hour you spend on WhatsApp is worth $10, which means if you spend an average of 5 hours on WhatsApp in a day, you will earn $50 everyday and in a month you will earn 30days x $50 a day= $1500 a month .And remember this is not your main salary job but just the worth of your time online .Imagine what a fulfilling life this can be.
This analysis should make you begin to have a different look at the WhatsApp platform. If you think this is not possible then it's not the right way to allow your mind to function. The right question to ask is, how can I make this a reality and your mind will begin to give you the right suggestions .

The first way to make money on whatsapp is by selling .There are other two ways by which you can make money on WhatsApp which is by advertising for companies and also by intermediating a business deal but I will cover only selling in this article and write the rest in another post.Selling on WhatsApp
There are things you have to first consider before you begin to sell on WhatsApp .
1) Check how many Whatsapp contacts you have on your phone and also the highest number of views you have ever gotten on your status and if it low as compared to the number of contact you have, then follow what am sharing to increase your status viewership. Once that is done, observe the gender of those who view your status. If 70% of your viewers are female, then you don't have to consider advertising male products that much because it means, the business may not thrive for long since ladies don't buy much of guys product.. .Use the opportunity rather to sell products needed by ladies .
2) You have to consider the location of the people. If they are not in your neighborhood where you can just walk to their homes to deliver the products, then you have to assure them of your delivery plan on your advert, so that the distance between you and them may not be the reason why they wouldn't want to by from you.
3) To get a higher viewership of your status, don't post more than 5 product a day . End each days advert post with a nice catchy picture other than your product. That picture will attract people to watch your status. So let say, you sell shirts ,after posting five different types of your shirts, add a nice picture of lady at the gym or a bird catching a fish or nice city etc .Something to catch the attention of your viewers so they view your status ,otherwise they will always scroll over your status because they are tired of pictures of your shirts .
4) You can also create groups where you can advertise your products or services. You can have several groups. But before you add someone to your group Kindly seek permission from them so they don't opt out after adding them. When creating a group, it wouldn't be nice if you create a group solely to sell your product, because you might be the only person who will be posting items into that group and with time the group will become boring . A group always survives by the active participation of it members. To get the participation and inputs from all the members ,you can create for example a news group where you will be posting short news of things happening in your country or inspirational group where you will be inspiring one another. Now, once the group is created that serves a different purpose, you can now be creatively posting your adverts into the group and no one will be tired of seeing them.And to creatively send your adverts into that group,create a WhatsApp business account on your phone with a different contact and put all the pictures of your products on that WhatsApp business contact. Now each time you make a post into your group on the latest news or whatever purpose your group was created for, you can put a link to your WhatsApp business contact and anyone who taps on the link will automatically take them to your online store on your WhatsApp business contact and you interact with them there to close your sales .You can do this with all other groups. You can even send a picture to a group and put your link under the picture with a little information of what you are selling. You can do the same with funny videos or any video.And once in a while you can send few of your items directly into the group.
5) You can also sell on WhatsApp using broadcast messages. You don't have to always post or send your product pictures or videos everyday to your contact. If you use that method ,a time will come your contacts will be ignoring opening your messages because they are not interested in seeing the same post from you everyday .
So the best way to do this, is by sending different messages everyday on different things or things that you know will interest them and embed or add your links to your WhatsApp business store under each post you make . You can even broadcast a funny video either in the mornings or evenings when people are tired from work and are heading home.Add a link to anything you send them .
.Then once in a while make a direct post of some of your products or services to them and they will happily view it. So to make people always view your broadcast messages, never let them predict what you have sent them by repeating the same post everyday but rather send different interesting things to them. Please make sure you send them the best information. A time will come they will intentionally check on you when they haven't heard from you .
6) The final consideration to make is the product type . Not every product is the best for every group. You have to determine what you really want to achieve with your business . If you want to reach everyone, it's by two ways, it's either you choose a product that both male and female will buy or you choose a product and add a selling concept that will make it suitable to sell to both sex. For example you can sell shoes or ladies product and add a concept that ,you sell products to surprise ladies during their birthdays. Now with this concept both guys and ladies can buy for their male and female friends.Also find a way to present your product for your clients to believe that they will get more value when they buy from you than elsewhere. You can do this by assuring your clients with free delivery, which means they don't have to go to town to buy what they want but you will bring the item to them. Please don't do free delivery if it will affect your profit . Just choose a better concept like buy two and get a free gift .So simple just find a way to make your client know it better to buy from you. Do well to buy your products from wholesale shop not retail shops. Wholesalers will give you a lower price which can help you sell faster than buying from retailers. You can also render a professional service of any kind on WhatsApp and make money, it's not only about selling a products .With this information, you are good to start a business on WhatsApp and make money.
