How to start business with no money

People in the world who have never entered into business always have one excuse which is, "they don't have the capital to start a business". Some even go the extra mile of writing an amazing business plan but the business never seems to materialize due to the same complaint about the unavailability of start-up funds.

Am going to show you simple ways to start a business with no money which can even help you raise money to do other business that requires money to start.

Start from what you have.

When you want to go into business, start with what you have, I mean either with the resource or the money at hand. There is nothing wrong with starting small but you shouldn't remain small as the years go by. If all the money you have is $1000 then you have to start a  business that requires $1000  to start than to have a business plan that requires $100,000 to start. Anyone who finds themselves in this situation will do two things, it's either the person get a loan from a bank or funds from investors to invest in the business. And when these two plans fail, the person will have to wait all his life for capital to start his business and may never be able to start the business until he grows old with the idea.

Now let say maybe you have an amount of money that cannot be used to start any business, or you have no money at all to start a business. If you find yourself in this category, then worry no more because this article is all you need to see what you have to do to realize your dream.

What to do when you have no money to start with?

If you don't have any money to start a business, then you don't need money to start a business, what you need is knowledge and skill. Several people are already in business but are looking for customers and some customers have money and are looking for where to buy from. So here is a need to meet. All you have to do is to put yourself in between the business owner and the customer, and in doing so you have started a business.

This is how it works.

You first have to go to the business owners office or shop and let them know you want to buy their products to sell and enquire of the price they are willing to give the product to you. Once the price is made known to you,  add an amount to the price and go look for a customer and communicate your price to the customer. Kindly take the contact line of the shop or that of the shop owner's so you can communicate with them when needed.

Where do you get the customers from?

There are two places you can find customers, it either online or onsite. To find customers online you start with your phone or your computer by designing a short advert either in text or pictorial form and send it to your friends on social media. You can also try bulk SMS to your phone contact, telling them about what you are selling and some will call you to enquire more so they can buy. You may have no idea who will need what you are selling until you send out your adverts.

To sell onsite, you will need to tell people by word of mouth. The best way to do this is to either make a flier to share with people or you go around your neighborhood to look for people or shops who will be interested in buying your products and talk with them. For example, let say the products you want to sell are laundry perfumes. You will have to go to every laundry shop you know of or you can go online and gets the addresses of the laundry shops around you. This is just an example so you can apply it with whatever products you want to sell, that is if you want to sell to businesses that use such products and you shouldn't limit yourself to only businesses because there are individuals who may also buy the products too.

How do you earn your money in this business?

Let say the shop gave the product to you at $50 and you added $10 on the product to make a new selling price of $60 to your customers. So your profit will be $10 after each sale.

When you get a client who agrees to buy at your price, call the shop and let them know you have a client who will want to buy the products but the price you gave the clients is $60, meaning the shop will have to balance you with $10 at the end of the sales. Shops are always in need of clients so they will gladly do this transaction with you.

It would have been the best for you buy the products and then deliver to the clients at a fee and make your sales but let just assume you still have no money to even buy, so let stick to this plan.

Just make it known to the clients you work with the shop and you one of their marketers. Kindly take the customers to the shop when they want to buy and after the sales, you get your money from the shop.

I used this principle when I left my first job. I did it with a clothing shop and it fetches me a lot of money. All I was doing is advertising shirts, trousers and suits online on WhatsApp, Facebook and other free online shopping site and I was getting calls every day. Once I began to make money, it even  gave me the ability to even purchase the cloths and make deliveries to some of the clients who won't get the time to come to the shop

So in this business, you are connecting suppliers (business owners ) with buyers (customers ) and earning a profit on each sale you make. So it a very simple business and requires no money to start. Now you can use this business to raise money for your other ideas or business plans that require money to start. Kindly share your thought with us in the comment section below.
